Accommodation Review; Bangkok on budget

The second time I've been to Thailand, Bangkok. (15 days in total)
Both trip cost me less than $1000SGD each inclusive of flight, accommodation, food, shopping, tour and others.

Stayed at The Ecotel during the first trip and KC place hotel for the second trip.
If you're on budget, this two hotel will be good.
KC has a better location which is just beside Baiyoke Sky hotel and 100m away from Airport Link (Rathchaprarop station). And the benefit of staying at Ecotel is you need not worry about food, there're  lots of shop-houses and pushcarts along the road.

The Ecotel
(Pictures are quite blur. Sorry about that!)
Information about Ecotel may not be accurate as its base on my stay more than a year back.
.
Clean and Comfy bed & toilet.
Bathroom is big.
One thing I really like is that the hotel provide their own map of all the nearest shopping malls! Which is really thoughtful and there's free wifi access.

Pros-
- Lots of food varieties around the hotel
- There are two 7-11 along the road
 - Two bottles of mineral water are provided everyday
- Free wifi provided
- Clean and comfy room
- Friendly staffs
- Has their own map of all the nearest shopping malls
-Safe is provided
.
Cons-
- 2000 baht is required upon check-in,
- slightly further down compare to KC place but it was bearable.

KC place
.
Well, the benefits for staying in this hotel is the location.
It only took us around 30 mins from the airport to the hotel by the Airport Link which is so convenient and cheap that we travelled back by the airport link too.
40baht per person from Suvarnabhumi (Airport) station to Rathchaprarop station!

Another plus point is that you can enjoy massage in your own room with addition of 50baht per hour but the young guy waived off the fee for us! The massage was nice and we enjoyed it!
Less than 5mins walk from hotel to airport rail link!
KC place hotel from the train station, spot the pink building.
The hotel's interior.
Design of the interior is not bad but the bed was bit too hard and the toilet is REALLY small with low ceiling!
Check out the pictures below.

The negative point, toilet is not suitable for people who is tall!
Will not recommend if you're above 185cm but it's fine for both boyfriend and I. =)
For your references, I'm 163cm and I'm able to touch the celling of the toilet.

Overall, the toilet is clean, shower gel & shampoo are provided.
Boyfriend, who is 178cm.

Pros-
- Great location near to airport link
- Good massage just beside the hotel
- Cheap tour package
 - 2 bottles of mineral water are provided daily

.
Cons-
- Small toilet
- No safe
- No hair-dryer
- No free wifi as stated on web (100baht per day)
- Lift only operates from level 2 onwards but you can ask for help to carry your luggage

Will not consider this as cons but do remember that 500 baht is required upon check-in.

That's all about my Bangkok Trip's accommodation, hope it helps!
Will blog about the rest of my trip soon~
